| On July 4th we set out overnight and woke up in Atlanta. |
2022 week twenty-eight

| After a protein and gravy-filled-hangover/all night drive-cure breakfast we explored the most beautiful aquarium. |

| Theo was hanging on by a thread. He didn't properly fall asleep in the car until almost 4 am... V fell asleep at 8 and slept the whole night through. |

| Everyone's favorite was the beluga whale tank. They were so squishy and fun to watch. |
 |
| Then we met my old good friend Hilary and her lovely family for lunch. I wish we could have spent the rest of the day visiting with them. One lunch was not enough! |

| I agreed to go on this horrifying Ferris Wheel. |
 |
| My thinly veiled panic was everyone's favorite joke. Ha. ha. |
 |
| We stayed outside of Atlanta with a great family who we miss very much. They loaned us two of their children to hike Stone Mountain with us. This hike was no joke. |
 |

| We spent the rest of the day soaking up their friendship and letting the kids get their wiggles out. |

| The next day we met another family we miss in North Carolina for a gentler hike through a gorgeous forest. |
 |
| We spent the evening chatting with them and spending the night at one of Matt's old college roommates house in Raleigh. |
