TWO

The kids and I went on a long “hike” around one of the Lewisville lake trails. It was beautiful and felt so good to be out walking in trees. 

2022 week two

January 6th was kings day. So we had our annual French style galette des rois (puff pastry filled with almond paste) and Matt found the baby Jesus so he was king for the evening. 

Salem’s indoor garden is expanding as we’re (finally) getting some winter weather and I have to bring in our outdoor plants.  

V got to have her very best Corinth friend over on the last day of break. They giggled continuously for 5 hours.

V made this wooden hammer which she told me was so useful when she wanted to break up our one frozen ice puddle. 

Most mornings during break were candlelit and involved card games for these two.
