THIRTY-EIGHT

The kids just absolutely begged to get the Halloween decorations down. We indulged them, and they have been flapping around the house ever since.

2021 week thirty-eight

This is Theo's current favorite joke...

Theo is such a great little artist. I love to see what he comes up with every morning waiting in the gym for school to start.

Fun old family photo of Matt with 3/5ths of his siblings. You may notice his Sunday clothes accessory is a snake wrapped around his arm and neck.

Matt and I had a lot of fun pretending we were much younger and went to a MONDAY NIGHT concert. Who thinks of such things?! Also, we really didn't fit in because Matt didn't look like a neon hipster and I wasn't dressed like a romanticized Spice Girl. :)

Glass Animals was a great show though.

Dream car.

The kids finished the Lego Haunted House to earn the Halloween decorations.

It only takes a few days of visiting Texas before someone somewhere will hand you a firearm.

We lost Matt's grandmother Joyce this past week, and all gathered for memorial services this weekend. She will be missed, but the evidence of her influence is easily seen in those who knew her.

It's officially fall when the first fresh cinnamon broom appears. Even though it will be 100 tomorrow (which means I lose my *foolishly optimistic* bet with Matthew), it at least smells like Autumn in my house.
