Theo is always creating something interesting and well-thought out with his legos.
2021 week seven
Candling my chicken eggs in my classroom. There's something in there!
A student found this painting guide of a snake and painted it yellow to be Funyun.
We had an ice day at school this week and only 8 of my students showed up. It was a delayed start so V brought in one of her classmates to hold Funyun.
"I'm a two-headed Giraffeagriff."
On Valentine's Day we woke up to snow!
It snowed all day and we barely saw the kids.
Our chickens, however, did not enjoy this. Poor Karen looks like she might not survive the cold week.
Playing sled dog.
It was a day of treats for us starting with candy and pringles in the morning, beignets in the afternoon, and then a glorious Valentine's dinner.
You can afford to eat nearly anything you want if you cook it yourself. We had filet mignon and king crab legs, followed by chocolate cake with whipped cream and raspberry jam.
The kids, disappointingly, ate a lot of the crab. Theo in particular kept begging for more. But when a thumb sized piece is dipped in hot garlic butter and then a lemon is squeezed over it, it would be hard for anyone to resist.
Getting Grandpa with his sharp crab claws.
The snow kept falling. This was our backyard right before bed.
Quotes
Theodore
"Mama, I need to tell you something so you don't get tricked. Let me whisper it in your ear. Papa said he was going to tickle you in the night."
"I love you as long as the power lines."
"Where is my rubix pube?"
Pointing to chocolate chips, "What kind of seeds are those?"
Me- "Try one and tell me what kind of plant it came from"
Eats one, "I don't know! Is it a mint seed?"
Veronica
"Mama, we need to both push you because you're heavier than Papa."
