Just a girl with heart-eyes for a snake. She asks us non-stop, all day to hold it.

2020 week twenty-nine

I have a warm tingly feeling whenever I open this closet and see our onions curing and our homemade jams and jellies decorating the shelves.

The boy, the buckets, and the toads. He catches these poor creatures every day and totes them around for a while before lifting up the broken piece of our patio and tucking them safely back in bed.

V has been missing her top tooth for a good week now and has been looking like a hillbilly. Her new tooth is growing in and I kept begging her to wiggle the other one out so she can be toothless for just a bit. I was teasing her while wiggling it that I was going to get it, then she threw her head back laughing and my finger accidentally flicked it out. Tho now the's toothleth. 

Uncle Greg came for a visit twice this week. The kids think he's magic and wrote him letters the very next day.

We've been using a clip chart to help reinforce being asked once to do something. When they get to pink they get a small piece of candy. If they happen to get it at the same time, they will pretend to eat it all and hide a piece from the other. When the other kid actually finishes their candy the hider will whip out their saved piece of candy with a flourish to be the last one to finish their candy.

The kids have been terrorizing the cat lately and now move in wordless formations through the house giving silent cues to each other to trap and catch the cat.
