THIRTY-SEVEN

At Veronica's school's Fun Fair, Theo got to go down the bounce house water slide. He clearly loved it.

2019 week thirty-seven

Celebratory dinner for Matt's dad with a 2 lb tomahawk steak. He shared some with all of us. We thought our steaks were fairly good until we tried his. We were wrong.

Action shot cycling to school!

On Wednesday night V got to experience her first door-to-door sales. We went to a neighborhood where we already knew several very nice people. Thank you Mrs. Murdock! (And Grandma, and the Paulsons, etc.) :)

We got magical lemonade at the Fun Fair.

V and her friend ran around giggling the whole time. It was her dream. All she wanted to do was to be allowed to run around alone with a friend.

V and A

More popcorn sales! It's way more fun with friends. These girls (and Bek who didn't make it into this shot) did pretty well. Things started to spiral out of control when I thought V had a piece of glass stuck in her foot, and as I tried to get it out with tweezers, she was overreacting because tweezers make her nervous. She was carrying on so much that her friend thought she was actually being hurt and passed out cold on the pavement. Around that time, I get a call from Grandma who was watching Theo that he had just vomited and had diarrhea. Wow. That was the beginning of a long day that involved a lot more vomit and diarrhea and ended with the AC breaking. We're all quite hot and a bit miserable this weekend. I can hardly believe I'm happy a weekend is over.
Quotes:

Theodore
"It's hard to be a good listener but the more I don't listen the more weak I will get."

Me- "How was school today?"
T- "Not too good."
Me- "Why?"
T- "I just had so many mischievous ideas inside of me."

Singing "Building legos is definitely not cool without your mom. But it's super lovey with your mom."

Veronica

"Smooch Papa so you can give him a wedgie!"
