Most evenings after the children are in bed and relatively quiet Matthew will draw at our desk and I'll read or putter around or cross stitch (very rarely). When we were first married Matthew started drawing animals in a tribal tattoo style. Quickly they developed into works around a theme: coral reef, barn yard, open ocean, etc. And he would fill in the space between the animals so they became hard to find. I think it helped him survive church for a few years. :) Last year he started a project around the alphabet. Each page had animals and items that start with the same letter. A, B, C, etc. He finally finished his project and created a website where he can sell copies of his book or as a landing page for interested agents or publishers.
I am so proud of him and very eager to present his work here and everywhere.
