Yes, it is still warm enough to not wear clothes at home. Oh Texas. I cried a little when I turned the AC on in the car on the first of December.
But, also, these photos were just too darling to keep to myself.
For Christmas for my mom this year I made a quilt -don't worry, she knew about it and requested it early so no Christmas secrets are being revealed. I made it in 3 days from a pattern that I drew on graph paper. I was impressed that I made it so quickly until I washed it and nearly half of the seams came apart and I had to hand quilt them closed...
I really love how it came out, and I kind of want to make another for myself.
I ran out of fabric, so the back is asymmetrical stripes. But, I really love the way it looks. I want 10 more Navajo rug pattern quilts.
It is amazing! I'm impressed it took you three days!
