I'M A FISH CITY BABY

Remember THIS? Well, if you don't want to follow the link, I'll recap. We planned to go to Fish City Grill with some friends and I just knew that I would have a baby and begged husband if we could go earlier in the week -no. So my water broke 30 minutes before I could get those oyster nachos in my mouth. And I told Husband that it would be ok, I could still get them before we went to the hospital -no. So I had to go without. I was so bummed.

Husband thought the story was so funny that he sent an e-mail to the director of marketing and told them that his wife loved their food so much she was willing to hold a baby in to get at those nachos. They thought the story was so funny they asked if they could use it for advertising. We said of course! And then they sent us this bib. Don't you love it? It was such a fun surprise to get in the mail.

 And they also sent us a $50 coupon. So great! We took the very same friends out to Fish City last night and made sure Vera wore her bib so we could take a photo in front of the oyster nachos sign.

Clearly I love this place. And the nachos were as good as ever last night. Even Vera liked this place since she slept the entire time we ate. I thought it was a really neat gesture for them to send us a gift card and a personalized bib. It just adds to how much I love this place. Like, did you know, if it is your first time eating at Fish City they will bring you a sampler plate of their best selling things? Amazing place. I ate almost an entire order of nachos by myself last night, along with their roasted jalapeno soup. Yum yum.
